The proposal of the Ministry of Justice in the area of procedural law introduces a method of joint application of several homogeneous consumer claims of a larger group of persons in a single court proceeding. In the framework of joint proceedings, it would be possible to assert only claims relating to legal relations between entrepreneurs and consumers. The party to the lawsuit would have to have the consent of at least 10 members of the group, the plaintiff in this proceeding would be a member of the group or a non-profit person. The draft also introduces the obligation of representation by a lawyer or protection against negative publicity.
